Megan Thee Stallion's Ex-Friend Kelsey Responds To 'Shots Fired' Diss

Things between Megan Thee Stallion and her ex-bestie Kelsey Nicole are getting heated.

This week, the “Savage” rapper celebrated the release of her long-awaited debut album, Good News. Among the LP’s 17 tracks includes a record titled “Shots Fired,” on which Megan recounts the July 2020 shooting incident involving Tory Lanez, who she claimed shot her and offered her hush money following the traumatic situation.

While Meg makes it clear that she’s referring to Lanez in the song, another set of bars appear to be aimed at her former best friend, Nicole. At one point on the track, Meg spits, “Who you takin' shots at, goofy-ass b—h?/ Watchin' me succeed from your knees, suckin' d—k/ I know you want attention from the n—s that I get/I'm a steak, you a side plate, shrimp, stay in your place.”

Well, she’s since responded to the diss, as per a screenshot posted by The Shade Room. In response to one Instagram user tweeting the line “I know you want attention from the n—s I get,” Nicole hit back, “The most weirdo s—t she could’ve ever said.”

Another commenter who accused her of wanting to “be [Megan] so bad it’s sad,” Nicole replied, “lol I would never want a soul like hers. Face body don’t mean s—t. Relax.”

For context, Nicole was reported to have been one of four people who witnessed the shooting incident that resulted in Megan sustaining injuries that night. However, Nicole has remained more or less silent on the situation, and it was even speculated that she and Lanez had been romantic with each other when everything went down.

After being charged in connection to the alleged crime involving the Houston native last month, Lanez has since pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.
