2019 Daytime Stage At The iHeartRadio Music Festival

Footage of what seems to be Juice Wrld’s final moments before his sudden death have surfaced.

The “Lucid Dreams” rapper, born Jarad Anthony Higgins, died at aged 21 after suffering a seizure in the Chicago Midway International Airport early Sunday morning (December 8). According to TMZ, Juice had just gotten off the plane after flying back to his hometown from California when the tragic incident occurred.

Hours after the tragedy broke, internet personality DJ Akademiks has now posted multiple videos of what is believed to be the last known footage of Juice captured alive. “This was Juice Wrld as he got on the plane that took him to Chicago last night. He was in high spirits and looked happy,” Akademiks tweeted along with a clip of the emo rapper playing around with his friends, all while the crew is still airborne on his private jet.

A second clip shows more of the same cool, carefree atmosphere as Juice and his drowsy buddies eventually touchdown at the Chicago airport, where the musician would spend the final moments of his life.

As previously reported, law enforcement told TMZ, who broke the report, that Juice had already been bleeding from the mouth by the time paramedics arrived on the scene. Despite allegedly remaining conscious while he was taken to the hospital, he was pronounced dead shortly after. No cause of death has been revealed at this time.

In the wake of his passing, artists like Lil Nas X, Camila Cabello, Ellie Goulding and more took to social media with tributes in Juice’s honor.
