Beyoncé has broken the record for the most Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA)-certified titles among female artists, TMZ reports.
On Tuesday (December 17), Bey added dozens of new RIAA titles to her collection including a 2x-Platinum certification for “Texas Hold ‘Em” and Platinum honors for her album Cowboy Carter.
Bey also earned a new certification for "16 Carriages," which went Gold. Her 2022 album Renaissance went 2x Platinum, and her hits "Drunk in Love" and "Crazy in Love" went 8x Platinum.
With a career total of 103 titles, RIAA announced that Bey officially has more certifications than any other female artist.
“We are so excited to recognize the incredible talent, hard work, and creative spirit reflected across diverse genres,” RIAA President and COO Michele Ballantyne said in a statement. “Congratulations on this crowning milestone, Beyoncé, Parkwood Entertainment, Columbia Records — and we see you, BeyHive, streaming on repeat!”
The record-breaking achievement comes on the heels of Bey headlining the NFL halftime show during the Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens game on Christmas Day. The halftime show will mark the first time Bey will perform songs from her Platinum Cowboy Carter.
