Zoo Miami's oldest reptile who celebrate his birthday on Father's Day also is celebrating being a first-time dad.
A Galapagos tortoise, named Goliath, is turning 135-years-old.
One of the eggs laid by his mate, Sweet Pea, hatched. She's no 'spring turtle' either, estimated to be between 85 and 100 years old.
Goliath arrived at the Bronx Zoo in 1929 and moved to Zoo Miami in 1981.
He has bred with several different females during his time at Zoo Miami, but he had never sired an offspring before.
The hatchling is kept in a separate enclosure as wild hatchlings are not raised by their parents.
An application is into the Guinness Book of World Records to recognize Goliath as the oldest first-time dad in history.
