(Tallahassee, FL) - A woman is the 2025 Python Challenge Ultimate Grand Prize winner for the competition that was held from July 10-20th.

Taylor Stanberry, who stands just 4'11" tall, singlehandedly wrangled a record number of the invasive snakes to take the $10,000 prize.

FWC's Sarah Funk handed the check to Stanberry today saying every competitor is a champion for conservation, but Taylor went above and beyond.

According to Funk, Taylor removed 60 snakes during the 10-day competition and all combined, competitors removed a record 294 pythons.

Funk says every invasive python removed from the Everglades is a win for our native wildlife and habitats.

Stanberry thanked the FWC for the win and the money.
