Cape Canaveral, FL - SpaceX will launch another set of Amazon satellites into orbit on Thursday from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.
The mission is set to begin with a 27-minute launch window opening at 10:01 a.m.
If the launch is delayed, a backup opportunity is available on Friday with a 25-minute window at 9:40 a.m.
This satellite deployment is part of Amazon’s Project Kuiper, which aims to provide affordable and fast broadband service globally.
The new batch of satellites will help Amazon work toward its goal of launching over 3,200 satellites into low Earth orbit.
This will be the first flight for the Falcon 9 first-stage booster designated for this mission.
After the rocket’s stages separate, the booster will return to Earth and land on the A Shortfall of Gravitas droneship in the Atlantic Ocean for recovery.
Amazon’s first Project Kuiper mission was launched on April 28, marking the company’s first foray into satellite-based internet services.
Founded by Jeff Bezos, Amazon’s satellite internet project is expected to enhance connectivity in underserved and remote regions.
While Bezos has shifted his focus to Blue Origin, his space exploration company, Amazon's Project Kuiper continues its goal to bridge the digital divide across the globe.
