The Tampa Bay Lightning (9-6-1) blanked the New Jersey Devils (12-7-2) 4-0 on Saturday night at Amalie Arena. It was the second straight win for Tampa Bay in a short two-game homestand.
Andrei Vasilevskiy led the way with 29 saves to earn the shutout, his second of the season and 36th in the NHL. The performance came on a night when they honored Vasilevskiy pregame for becoming the fastest goalie in NHL history to earn 300 wins, which he accomplished in a win over the Jets on Thursday night.
Tampa Bay got goals from Nick Paul, Darren Raddysh, Victor Hedman and Anthony Cirelli to account for all the scoring on the night.
The Lightning next head to Pittsburgh where they will play the Penguins on Tuesday night. Puck drop in that game is scheduled for 7:00 PM in Pittsburgh.
